Specific anal protection

Anal sex involves higher risks than vaginal sex, because the anal mucosa is thinner, easily irritated and breaks more quickly. Here is the optimal protection:
1. Condom – mandatory
• Use an extra-resistant condom (thick / extra safe / anal condom) – e.g. Durex Extra Safe, Manix Super, Trojan Supra.
• Change the condom if you switch from anal to oral or vaginal.
• Put it with plenty of lubricant on the outside of the condom + inside (2-3 drops).
2. Lubricant – essential
• Silicone-based only (not water-based – it dries too quickly for anal).
• Recommended: Pjur Back Door, Swiss Navy Silicone, Durex Play Silicone, Uberlube.
• Apply generously:
• Inside the anus (with your finger, slowly)
• On the condom
• Reapply every 5-10 minutes or when you feel friction.
• Avoid lubricants with a warming/cooling effect at first – they can irritate.
3. Preparation and technique
• Anal shower (optional but recommended for comfort):
• 30-60 minutes before, with an anal shower head + lukewarm water (no harsh soap).
• Don’t overdo it – irritation increases the risk.
• Slow relaxation: start with fingers + lots of lube, then small toys, before penetration.
• Recommended positions at first: she on top (cowgirl) or spooning – she controls the depth and pace.
• Never force it. If it hurts – stop, add lube.
4. Specific risks and protection
• Higher STI transmission: HIV, gonorrhea, chlamydia, HPV, syphilis, hepatitis. The risk is 5-18x higher with unprotected anal.
• Use condoms + PrEP (if you are active) for extra protection against HIV.
• After anal sex:
• Don't immediately switch to vaginal sex (bacteria).
• Shower + urinate.
• You can use a suppository with probiotics or a soothing cream (e.g. with aloe or panthenol) if there is irritation.
5. Practical tips for the date
• Tell her in advance that you want anal sex → come prepared (clean + relaxed).
• Bring your own lubricant and condoms.
• If she refuses a condom for anal sex → give up. It's not worth the risk.
• Visually check: no irritation, wounds, visible hemorrhoids.
The golden rule for anal sex: Lots of lubricant + condom + slow pace = pleasure without complications.
Not enough lubricant = microlesions + high risk of infection.
