Swallowing
Swallowing is the practice in which, during oral sex (usually after ejaculation into the mouth), the recipient chooses to swallow the seminal fluid instead of spitting it out. It is an intimate gesture, often perceived as a sign of trust and total acceptance of the partner.
Soft and practical aspects:
• Texture and taste: Semen is watery, slightly salty or bitter-sweet (influenced by diet: fruit, hydration increase sweetness; coffee, cigarettes make it more bitter). A quick swallow minimizes the lingering taste.
• Relaxed technique: Breathe through your nose, relax your throat as if swallowing a pill; a splash of water beforehand helps. The position with your head slightly tilted back makes the process smoother.
• Hygiene & safety: Check together for the absence of STIs (regular testing); use a condom if in doubt. Avoid if your partner has active infections.
• Consent and comfort: It's not mandatory—pleasure comes from free choice. Many see the gesture as a moment of mutual vulnerability, but it's perfectly OK to elegantly cough into a tissue.
It's a sensual detail that can intensify the connection, if both people really want it.
